IICIF 2014 was held on 3-4 September 2014 (Wednesday and Thursday) at Lanai Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia in conjunction with the Global Islamic Finance Forum (GIFF 2014). IICIF 2014 has yet again been proved to be the international platform for the global Islamic Finance (IF) community, as the two-day program was well-received by academia and practitioners alike from all over the world. From the presentation of the topics to the intensive discussions during Q&A sessions, the interest and enthusiasm of the learned participants was constantly high.
This event attracted 197 delegates comprising scholars, academicians, practitioners in Islamic financial institutions, postgraduate students and representatives of universities from Malaysia, Indonesia and Algeria. In total, 23 papers were presented (excluding ISRA papers).
