We are pleased to inform that the ISRA International Journal of Islamic Finance (IIJIF) has been successfully evaluated and accepted for inclusion in Scopus on 12 April 2018. Scopus is Elsevier's abstract and citation database; it evaluates and validates peer-reviewed journals for inclusion in Scopus, or exclusion from it, using transparent and fair criteria.

IIJIF is a fully peer-reviewed journal, published bi-annually in June and December since December 2009. The Journal has a track record of timely publication and quality content. It publishes articles of academic rigour in the areas of Islamic economics, banking, finance, capital markets, takāful (Islamic insurance) and law. It also promotes articles authored by practitioners who have experience in applied Islamic finance as well as short articles to showcase initial findings of current research works or on-going projects.

As at date, IIJIF is abstracted and indexed by:

  • Index Islamicus
  • EconLit
  • EBSCO Products
  • ProQuest
  • Scientific Indexing Services
  • EconBiz
  • Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)
  • Scopus

This initiative helps expose articles published in IIJIF to the widest possible audience, maximizing international readership and helping research make the greatest impact. It has further increased service excellence to authors, providing an efficient and convenient online author submission system that ensures full oversight on the progress of articles during the review process.
