In light of the Malaysian Prime Minister’s announcement of the movement control order due to the #COVID19 outbreak, The International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) will be closing its office premise from Wednesday, 18 March until Tuesday, 31 March 2020. This is part of the social distancing measures taken to prevent further spread of the virus.
ISRA is concerned over the #COVID19 outbreak and therefore are taking all the necessary measures and precautions to ensure the health and safety of all its employees and stakeholders.
Hence, we are moving our key operations online and will continue to operate virtually with minimal disruption and shall adapt its approach and resources as required. In addition to the above, ISRA has enacted the following vital measures:
◆ Establishing the Business Continuity Plan Response Committee dedicated for COVID-19.
◆ Staff are to postpone all international travel plans until further notice.
◆ Staff are to be on “social distancing“ mode whereby they are only allowed to go out from their home for the purpose of obtaining food or essential items;
◆ Upcoming local and international events, training programmes, workshops or meetings for ISRA and ISRA Consulting are postponed or delivered virtually.
May Allah the Almighty protect us all from harm and grant us ease in facing this situation.
